Thomas Riedelsheimer

Born September 1963; studied at the Academy for Film and Television in Munich(1984- 1991); since 1986 free-lance author, director and cameraman in Germany and abroad (Somalia, Tanzania, South Africa, New Zealand, Latvia, Russia, Tibet, Nepal, Japan,Canada, Scotland, India, Geogia, etc.); lecturer at seminars on cinematography; camera work with 16mm, S16mm and 35mm, as well as with all video formats.
Since 2001 founder and partner in Filmquadrat, a Munich based film production company with Stefan Tolz and Thomas Wartmann.

Thomas Riedelsheimer lives in Munich, is married and has two children, 11 and 9 years old.
He won several major national and international film and television awards for directing as well as for editing and camerawork. His films had been selected for the official section of international festivals.
