Pietrino Di Sebastiano was born in 1956 in Civitella Messer Raimondo, Chieti, Italy where he still lives and works. He started working primarily in B/W in the early 1980's, as a self-taught photographer. He sometimes worked with colour prints and recently also with a digital camera, always looking for creative images.

In 1991 he became a member of FIAF (Federazione Italiana
Associazioni Fotografiche) and also established the photography group "Circolo Fotografico Controluce" with some friends of his. In Torricella
Peligna he sets up photo exhibitions at "Fotobar Il Grottino", an exhibition space dedicated to the Federation members' shows.
He personally exhibited his works in many one-man and group shows and contests and some of his photos were published on the most important photography reviews.
He maintains some websites dedicated to photography and his
hometown.
